The SIAI Digital Development team is constantly undertaking complex development initiatives within Global Cyber Security.
Our Digital Development team designs, architects, and builds bespoke solutions to support forward-thinking and industry leading initiatives from Cyber & Digital Threat Hunting, Cyber Analytics, Adversary Emulation, Data Loss Prevention teams.
We are seeking a Lead System Engineer to take ownership of critical production services.
In this role, you will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of over 20+ production services, driving modernization, migration, and disaster recovery initiatives.
You will be a key contributor in maintaining system health, resolving complex technical issues, and upholding security standards across our infrastructure.
What will you do?
• Provide support for production services, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Lead security vulnerability remediation (SAST/DAST) efforts and other compliance initiatives, ensuring compliance with security best practices and policies.
• Execute critical modernization and migration projects to enhance system efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
• Develop, test, and maintain Disaster Recovery plans, ensuring business continuity in critical scenarios.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security metrics, proactively identifying areas for optimization.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical growth.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
• Advanced Python skills with solid Django framework expertise
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and RESTful API development.
• Hands-on experience with modernization, migration, and Disaster Recovery initiatives.
• 5+ years of experience in technical support, software engineering, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in L2 support, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues.
• Strong experience with SAST & DAST vulnerability remediation and implementing secure coding practices.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms (preferred OpenShift, good with Azure or AWS) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with a focus on clarity and precision
