Role overview
Lead the definition and implementation of SAP S/4 solutions and applications strategy for Supply Chain solutions.
The role covers functional roadmaps, architecture, design, implementation, platform utilization, and systems integration.
The position is part of the SAP Platform & Strategic Initiatives team and includes strategic thought leadership, coaching, mentoring, and delivery of strategic initiatives.
Key accountabilities
- Lead or advise on Supply Chain solutions roadmaps and projects across Plan, Source, Make, and Inventory pillars.
- Engage business partners and SAP practitioners to understand supply chain processes and SAP requirements.
- Research SAP technologies and recommend strategies for business needs.
- Conduct discovery projects with business units and SAP team members to identify solutions.
- Lead or participate in end-to-end implementations and parallel SAP projects as a functional solution architect.
- Create blueprints for functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Lead or review solution design, build, testing, and go-live activities for implementations, rollouts, and upgrades.
- Design integrations between SAP systems and other business applications.
- Review and revise standards to maintain best practices.
