Role overview
Act as the senior technical authority for Interfaces and Connectivity within SimCorp’s Product Area.
Own secure, reliable connectivity between SimCorp and clients and across SimCorp products on an Azure-based SaaS platform.
The role spans client onboarding, external interfaces, and internal communication channels.
Key responsibilities
- Own secure external and internal connectivity using MQ, FIX, SFTP, PGP, WebAPI, VPN, and NOMA.
- Configure client onboarding connectivity, including VPN setup, IP whitelisting, firewall rules, and validation.
- Design and maintain Azure networking components such as NSGs, ASGs, VNet Peerings, Private Links, and VPN connections.
- Manage certificate lifecycles and secure communication protocols across Dimension-related services.
- Define alerts, build dashboards with Product Engineering and DevOps, and lead operational reviews.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for incidents, root-cause analysis, and change management.
- Lead client and vendor design workshops and maintain network diagrams, documentation, and runbooks.
- Mentor engineers and drive automation, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code adoption.
