Role Overview
Lead the application security strategy and roadmap for DevSecOps and security controls.
Own product excellence, AI security enablement, release management, and adoption across development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the AppSec roadmap and prioritize initiatives that deliver measurable value to development teams.
- Partner with technology product management to improve usability, quality, and technical debt.
- Engage application development executives and vendors to align strategies and organizational needs.
- Drive AI adoption and establish guardrails for agents, MCP, and code generation.
- Track KPIs, manage costs, measure ROI, and reduce unit delivery costs.
- Prototype features, educate developers, and strengthen the AppSec learning culture.
- Foster adoption through meetups, steering groups, and user communities.
- Own end-to-end release planning, documentation, and execution.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of AppSec engineering experience.
- Experience with GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, Snyk, or Aqua, plus Docker and Kubernetes.
- Full-stack development experience with JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python, or similar.
- Experience with API delivery, data management, and/or business analytics.
