- Define, own and evolve the product roadmap for the private markets platform
- Orchestrate high stakes product demonstrations, executive roundtables, and client conferences
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with Leadership
- Conduct user research and synthesize feedback into actionable insights
- Write product specifications and work with engineering and design to ship features
- Define success metrics and use data to evaluate outcomes
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to understand market gaps
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to integrate AI and automation
- Drive alignment across cross functional teams
- Stay ahead of regulatory developments and market trends
Requirements
- 5+ years product management experience
- At least 2 years in B2B SaaS or fintech
- Meaningful exposure to private markets
- Strong understanding of private asset structures, capital calls, distributions, investor reporting
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in working with data and building dashboards
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams in agile environment
- High EQ and ability to build trust with customers, engineers, and senior leadership
- Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Finance, or related field (preferred)

Role Overview

- This is a high visibility, high impact role owning product strategy and execution for Private Markets.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Orchestrate high stakes product demonstrations, executive roundtables, and client conferences.
- Define, own and evolve the product roadmap for our private markets platform.
- Be the primary point of contact for private markets and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategically own, manage and prioritize the product backlog.
- Deeply immerse yourself in the workflows of private markets.
- Write crisp, well reasoned product specifications and work with engineering and design.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to author user features and stories.
- Define success metrics for every initiative and use data to evaluate outcomes.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to understand market gaps.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to integrate AI and automation.
- Drive alignment across cross functional teams.
- Stay ahead of regulatory developments, market trends, and competitive shifts.
Who You Are
- 5+ years product management experience, with at least 2 years in B2B SaaS or fintech.
- Meaningful exposure to private markets.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully launching products and features.
- Strong understanding of private asset structures, capital calls, distributions, investor reporting.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in working with data and building dashboards.
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams in an agile environment.
- High EQ and ability to build trust quickly.
- Genuine curiosity about technology and its role in reshaping financial services.
- Experience engaging proactively with clients and stakeholders.
- Broad knowledge of the Alternative Investment marketplace and system vendors.
- Experience with SimCorp Dimension (advantageous but not required).

Salary Range
- For Toronto: CAD 180,000 – CAD 275,000 base pay, plus annual discretionary bonus and benefits.
- For New York City: CAD 210,000 CAD 300,000, plus annual discretionary bonus and benefits.
