- The role is based in Kalina, Mumbai and is performed in person.
Role Summary
Own the strategic roadmap, scaling, and compliance of the UPI payment ecosystem.
Drive ecosystem-level partnerships with NPCI, the RBI, and tier-one sponsor banks.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end strategy and roadmap for Core UPI, UPI Lite, Autopay, Credit Line on UPI, and international expansions.
- Collaborate with technology, risk, legal, and banking partners to deliver features and optimize costs.
- Prepare comprehensive business requirements documentation and risk-mitigation frameworks.
- Track system health, fraud metrics, and post-launch adoption to drive upgrades and dispute-resolution mechanics.
- Benchmark global fintech trends to deliver a market-leading digital payment experience.
Key Requirements
- 14–15 years of experience in BFSI or fintech as a product or operations leader, with prior UPI ecosystem experience.
- Strong understanding of IMPS, PSP models, TPAP frameworks, switch infrastructure, and clearing and settlement cycles.
- Proven experience managing high-volume payment infrastructure and leading cross-functional engineering and product delivery teams.
