In this role, you’ll

Lead surgical and dental workflows

Calculate, prepare, and monitor anesthesia

Assist with surgical procedures and dental radiography

Provide exceptional patient care from induction through recovery

Mentor and support fellow technicians

Identify and improve team workflows

Build trust with clients through confident admissions and discharges

Schedule and compensation

  • Compensation: $34-39 per hour, for each hour worked
  • This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays.

Minimum qualifications and skill set

  • 5+ years of veterinary technician experience
  • Active and good-standing Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Washington **
  • Proficiency in the following skills: Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery Surgical assistance and aseptic technique Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography Medication administration and accurate drug calculations Client education and communication Experience training team members Improving workflows and implementing SOPs Effective teamwork and professional communication skills
  • Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring

  • Surgical assistance and aseptic technique
  • Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography

  • **Recent graduates pending VTNE testing and licensure, or out-of-state license-holders who are eligible to transfer a license, are also encouraged to apply

We’ve provided generations of pets individualized care, from wellness exams and dental care to surgery, ultrasound, laser therapy, nutritional counseling, and more.
