Strong understanding of OpenBMC architecture , including D-Bus, BMCWeb, Entity Manager, phosphor services, Virtual Media, Firmware Update, and User Management.
Experience validating OpenBMC platforms based on AST2500, AST2600, and AST2700 BMC SoCs.
Strong knowledge of server platform architecture , BIOS-BMC interaction, inventory management, sensor monitoring, power and thermal management.
Hands-on experience with Linux , shell scripting, networking, system services, and log analysis.
Experience with firmware validation including functional, regression, stress, performance, security, and interoperability testing .
Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills for firmware, software, and hardware integration issues.
Experience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, GitHub/GitLab, Gerrit, and CI/CD pipelines .
Experience developing automation for firmware deployment, provisioning, test execution, log collection, and reporting.
Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA .
Ability to define validation strategies and automation roadmaps.
Proven experience leading automation initiatives and improving test coverage.
Strong planning, estimation, execution, and risk management skills.
Experience mentoring engineers and driving engineering best practices.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in firmware validation, automation, or embedded systems testing.
5+ years of hands-on BMC/OpenBMC validation and automation experience.
Proven experience leading automation initiatives and validation programs.
Strong experience with enterprise server, storage, or datacenter platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
