Lead Engineer - System Administration

Key Responsibilities

• · Lead system administration for Linux/Windows compute environments including configuration management, OS performance tuning, patching, upgrades and lifecycle maintenance.
• · Implement automation scripts / workflows for routine ops, deployment, configuration changes & environment hygiene reduction of manual work.
• · Perform advanced troubleshooting for compute platform incidents, support RCA actions and ensure closure of high impact issues.
• · Support capacity planning, resource optimization and compute cost optimization with platform teams.
• · Ensure enterprise security baseline compliance, vulnerability remediation and system hardening controls.
• · Review changes, validate implementation quality, coach junior engineers and uplift operational maturity.
• · Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements, including change control discipline, access management standards, and audit trail maintenance.
