Lead Engineer-Civil/ Structural - Onshore-AD

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Civil/Structural engineering activities during FEED, EPC, and detailed engineering phases.
• Prepare and manage discipline execution plans, structural design bases, philosophies, deliverable registers, checking and approval matrices, and work-hour estimates.
• Define analysis approaches, review assumptions, verify results, and approve calculations, reports, specifications, drawings, and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate metocean, geotechnical, weight-control, survey, inspection, fabrication, installation, constructability, operations, and multidisciplinary inputs.
• Lead interdisciplinary, model, constructability, and safety reviews with project stakeholders.
• Manage progress, schedule, budget, manpower forecasts, workshare execution, subcontracted engineering, quality requirements, and change control.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of oil and gas structural engineering experience, including 5 years in a lead role.
• Experience across FEED, detailed engineering, EPC, PMC, construction support, and brownfield modification phases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• A master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of UAE regulations, international engineering codes, and oil and gas industry practices.
• Strong onshore oil and gas civil and structural design knowledge, including foundations, drainage, steel and reinforced concrete structures, pipe racks, and equipment supports.
• Proficiency with STAAD Pro, SAP2000, SAFE, Mat3D, and ETABS.
• Technical leadership, engineering assurance, risk identification, quality control, communication, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
