Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy statistical and machine learning models for credit risk, pricing, collections, fraud, and other business use cases.
• Lead initiatives from problem framing and model design through deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Partner with Portfolio Strategy, Engineering, Product, Underwriting, Sales, and Collections to integrate models into applications.
• Define standards for model development, code quality, and documentation, and guide technical design decisions.
• Mentor team members and communicate technical concepts and business implications to varied stakeholders.
• Build production machine learning pipelines and monitoring systems that are reliable, scalable, and continuously improving.

Role Requirements

• The role requires 8 or more years of hands-on model development and deployment experience.
• Advanced statistical and machine learning experience must include generalized linear models, gradient boosting, and deep learning.
• Expert proficiency in Python, SQL, and Git is required.
