LEAD DATA ENGINEER

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery.

Build and optimize data platforms using Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and related technologies.

Implement Delta Lake architectures (bronze, silver, gold layers) and drive best practices.

Develop and maintain data lakes, warehouses, and modern analytics platforms.

Apply data governance and security practices using appropriate tools and standards.

Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and enhance platform reliability.

Participate in technical discussions, share knowledge, and support team learning.

Contribute to reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives through robust data infrastructure.

Substantial experience in data engineering, including big data technologies.

Hands-on exposure to Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and data pipeline frameworks.

Familiarity with Delta Lake architecture (bronze, silver, gold layers).

Knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, and related services.

Experience implementing CI/CD for data engineering workflows.

Understanding of data governance and security concepts.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in distributed data environments.

Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving mindset.

Comfortable working in Agile or similar team-oriented methodologies.
