Whitehaven is seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Projects Lead to join our Project Team at Blackwater Mine. This senior leadership position is responsible for the safe, efficient and successful delivery of construction projects across the operation, providing direction and oversight to a team of Project Managers and contractors.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven construction leader to drive project execution excellence while contributing to the ongoing growth and sustainability of one of Queensland's leading mining operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Superintendent Projects, the Construction Projects Lead will oversee a series of construction projects, ensuring successful delivery from concept through to handover.

The role will provide leadership across project planning, procurement, construction execution, contractor management and stakeholder engagement, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
