About the Role
RBC is seeking a Lead Change Management Specialist to own the full Change Management mandate for the DevOps & EA Business Office. This senior individual contributor role leads change strategy and execution for technology transformation, including AI adoption telemetry and agentic readiness.

- Own change management delivery for all qualifying DevOps & EA initiatives: impact assessments, stakeholder plans, communication execution
- Complete change readiness assessments for 100% of qualifying initiatives before major go lives
- Manage adoption friction signals: track, action, and close within 10 business days for 80% or more
- Own AI adoption telemetry for DevOps & EA: aggregate signals, track friction, quantify capacity hours
- Own the Agentic Readiness Framework and deliver V1 by Q3 FY26
- Own and operate the AI champion network as a signal layer
- Own the change management track for the AI SDLC enterprise rollout
Requirements
- 5+ years of change management experience in a technology or financial services environment
- Proven ability to manage change delivery independently (impact assessments, stakeholder plans, comms execution, readiness gating)
- Experience embedding change management into agile or iterative delivery models
- Strong data literacy: ability to interpret adoption signals and quantify productivity capacity
- Executive ready communication skills

What is the opportunity?
- The Lead Change Management Specialist is a role within the DevOps & EA Business Office, reporting to the Senior Director.
- This role owns the full Change Management mandate: enterprise change delivery for DevOps & EA initiatives, AI adoption telemetry, agentic readiness, and the AI champion network.
- This is a permanent, senior individual contributor role operating with significant independence.
What will you do?
- Own change management delivery for all qualifying DevOps & EA initiatives: change impact assessments, stakeholder plans, communication execution.
- Partner with Director, PMO to sequence change activities into delivery schedules.
- Complete change readiness assessments for 100% of qualifying initiatives before major go lives.
- Manage adoption friction signals: track, action, and close within 10 business days for 80% or more.
- Escalate stakeholder resistance or readiness gaps to Senior Director immediately.
- Own AI adoption telemetry for DevOps & EA: aggregate signals, track friction, quantify capacity hours.
- Submit telemetry backed capacity hours to Finance monthly.
- Maintain AI adoption signal log; surface patterns indicating systemic barriers.
- Own the Agentic Readiness Framework: define human side readiness criteria and workflow change patterns.
- Deliver V1 of the Agentic Readiness Framework by Q3 FY26.
- Own and operate the AI champion network as a signal layer and connective tissue.
- Own the change management track for the AI SDLC enterprise rollout.
What do you need to succeed?
- 5+ years of change management experience in a technology or financial services environment.
- Proven ability to manage change delivery independently: impact assessments, stakeholder plans, comms execution, readiness gating.
- Experience embedding change management into agile or iterative delivery models.
- Strong data literacy: ability to interpret adoption signals, quantify productivity capacity, present evidence backed findings.
- Executive ready communication skills; able to represent change management in VP level forums.
- Nice to have: Direct experience with AI adoption, AI enabled productivity programs, or developer tooling transformation.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with SDLC, software delivery, or technology platform change programs.
- Nice to have: Experience in regulated financial services environment.
- Nice to have: Prosci ADKAR, CCMP, or equivalent change management certification.
- Nice to have: Experience managing champion networks or practice communities.
