Job Summary
The Lead Application Developer will coach web developers and support continuous enhancements for the group’s growing business.
The role provides front-line IT support to business users and helps resolve critical issues promptly.
Responsibilities
- Coach a team of web developers and support business application enhancements.
- Work with business leaders, coworkers, overseas developers, and vendors to deliver group projects.
- Develop and enhance business applications and e-commerce platforms.
- Translate user needs into technical programming and maintain documentation.
- Enforce source code and version control across multiple parties.
- Develop test plans, test cases, and technical and functional documentation.
- Keep current with application, web, and security technologies.
- Help document, develop, and enforce development methodologies and protocols.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- At least three years of programming experience with in-house and e-commerce web or mobile applications.
- Experience with one or more of the listed programming languages and web platforms.
- Cross-platform mobile application experience is a bonus.
