Role overview
Avison Young is seeking a Lead, Analytics Engineering for Avison Young Technologies.
The role leads the strategy and execution of proprietary data products and models for commercial real estate decision makers.
Solutions support portfolio analysis, site and market search, and highest and best use decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead data products and data science models from discovery and concept development through testing, scaling, launch, and iteration.
- Develop mathematical and algorithmic approaches for complex commercial real estate decisions.
- Oversee data science and data engineering work and contribute to business and technical requirements.
- Manage data and technology vendors, including renewals, delivery timeliness, and data evaluation.
- Ensure responsible data usage, compliance, and governance across products and workflows.
- Collaborate with clients, advisory teams, and leadership to assess needs, test value, and guide product direction.
- Support go-to-market positioning and product-market fit for new products.
- Communicate strategy, roadmaps, and release plans to stakeholders and clients.
- Define and track success metrics for delivered data products.
