Role Overview
The role is for a Lead AI Engineer focused on Generative AI and LLM-based solutions.
The position is based in Doha, Qatar and requires hands-on technical leadership of AI engineering projects and teams.
Contract
- The contract is yearly renewable.
Required Experience and Skills
- 6–8+ years of experience in AI/ML, AI engineering, or a related field are required.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and AI agents is required.
- Strong Python programming skills are required.
- Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or similar LLMs is required.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks is required.
- Strong experience in AI model evaluation and production deployment is required.
- Proven experience leading AI projects or technical teams is required.
- Strong architecture, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills are required.
- Qatar or GCC experience is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI and Generative AI solutions.
- Architect and develop LLM, RAG, AI agent, and AI automation solutions.
- Lead prompt engineering, model evaluation, and performance optimization.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and practical AI solutions.
- Integrate LLMs with enterprise APIs, databases, and applications.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor AI/ML engineers.
- Establish best practices for AI development, testing, deployment, and governance.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver AI initiatives.
