Overview
- Issue linen according to system and procedures laid down by Century Marina Hotel, Lusail. Control of movement of soiled and fresh linen; and uniforms for employees.
Key Duties and Accountabilities
- Deliver linen stocks to all hotel departments including Housekeeping, Public Areas, Food and Beverage, Pool Operations, Spa Operations.
- Issue uniforms to all hotel employees on a one for one basis.
- Count soiled uniforms/linen received and prepare for the laundry collection.
- Check for damage and heavy spoiling when receiving dirty linen and uniforms.
- Count and check all uniforms items received from the laundry.
- Count and check all items of guest laundry and dry cleaning, prepare paperwork and handover to the laundry collection service.
- Count in and check all items of guest laundry to ensure correct quantities, amount charged and room numbers before delivery to guest apartments.
- Check fitness uniforms as per laid down norms before issuing.
- Schedule work efficiently so as to meet delivery timings.
- Press Guest clothes and hotel uniforms and linen up to acceptable standards operate the equipment and ensure its maintenance and operational efficiency on a continuing basis.
- Respond to and resolve guests / employees complaints in timely manner.
- Responsible for properly executing all request for VIP services, Executives etc.
Additional Duties
- Assist with training on product and/or equipment as required for appropriate staff.
- Support and follow Century Marina Hotel, Lusail or Century Hotel Doha Policies and procedures.
