The Position
To work in the Laundry area washing and processing clean linen, terry, uniforms and Food and Beverage linens accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
Sort and weigh soiled linen to prepare for wash load volumes
Load and unload washing machines
Load and unload dryers
Process hotel linen and Food and Beverage linen on the ironer
Prepare racks with clean linen and terry for all guest room linen closets
Process dried towels on the towel folder
Prepare racks of clean Terry for the spa, mini spa and pool
Wash, dry and process uniforms. Hang in the appropriate rack on the automated carousel for employee pick up
Ensure all linen is counted and recorded appropriately on production logs
Monitor and replace Laundry Chemical Barrels as required
Operate within the Safety Operating Standard procedures at all times; always utilize PPE
Report any equipment deficiencies immediately to leadership for safety purposes
Must be able to work effectively within a team environment and have the ability to communicate effectively
Perform all other duties as assigned
Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris and litter.
