About the Role
Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor for major infrastructure projects in Dubai, UAE. The role involves independent verification of setting-out, survey control, and as-built records for roads, bridges, tunnels, and utilities.

Responsibilities
- Establish, verify, and maintain primary and secondary survey control networks tied to DLTM and DMD
- Independently check Contractor's setting out of roads, bridges, tunnels, structures, drainage, and utility corridors
- Verify levels and lines for subgrade, subbase, aggregate base course, and asphalt layers
- Verify setting out and levels for piles, pile caps, piers, abutments, bearings, girders, deck slabs, parapets, and expansion joints
- Verify tunnel alignment control and setting out for segmental linings, cross passages, shafts, portals
- Verify setting out of water, sewerage, irrigation, district cooling, telecom, and electrical networks
- Witness and verify topographic surveys, pre construction condition surveys, and existing utility surveys
- Carry out joint surveys for measurement of earthworks, excavation, backfill, and pavement layers
- Verify Contractor's as built surveys and maintain As Built Survey Register
- Maintain Consultant's survey instruments and verify Contractor's instrument calibration
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly survey activity reports for the Resident Engineer
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Materials Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, and Contractor's Survey Manager
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Surveying / Geomatics / Civil Engineering or recognized Diploma in Land Surveying
- Minimum 10 years' experience in land surveying on construction projects
- At least 7 years on major infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, tunnels, utilities)
- Minimum 3 years in the UAE/GCC
- Dubai Municipality / RTA approval as Land Surveyor is highly preferred
- Expert use of Total Stations, GNSS/RTK GPS, digital levels, and 3D laser scanners
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Good technical report writing, attention to detail, and effective communication

Job Purpose
- To carry out all surveying, setting out verification, and dimensional control activities ensuring compliance with approved IFC drawings, project specifications, and client/authority requirements.
- Provide independent verification of all survey related works and ensure traceability to DLTM coordinate system and DMD vertical datum.

- Good technical report writing, attention to detail, and effective communication.
Reporting Line
- Reports directly to the Resident Engineer.
- Works in close coordination with Assistant Resident Engineer, Site Engineers, Materials Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, and Contractor's Survey Manager and team.
