Dutco Construction is hiring Land Surveyors for a project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves precise surveying and setting-out works for building construction projects, ensuring accurate positioning of structural elements.

Responsibilities
- Perform accurate setting out for building works including gridlines, benchmarks, control points, excavation layouts, and structural components
- Conduct topographic and site surveys before and during construction
- Measure distances, elevations, and angles using total station, GPS/RTK systems, and auto level/laser level
- Prepare as built surveys for completed works and record actual site measurements
- Interpret construction drawings and coordinate with site engineers, QA/QC, and MEP teams
- Ensure all setting out work is accurate to avoid rework and conduct periodic checks
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment, ensuring calibration and safe handling
- Maintain survey records, field notes, and reports for project documentation
- Follow all HSE procedures and use appropriate PPE at all times
Requirements
- Experience in land surveying for building construction projects
- Proficiency with total station, GPS/RTK systems, and auto level/laser level
- Ability to interpret construction drawings (architectural and structural)
- Knowledge of as built survey preparation
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with HSE procedures on construction sites

Job Purpose
- The Land Surveyor is responsible for carrying out precise surveying and setting out works for building construction projects.
- Ensures all structural elements are positioned accurately as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate setting out for building works including gridlines, benchmarks, control points, excavation and foundation layouts, columns, walls, slabs, and structural components.
- Establish and maintain site reference points and levels.
- Conduct topographic and site surveys before and during construction.
- Measure distances, elevations, and angles using total station, GPS/RTK systems, and auto level/laser level.
- Verify site conditions against design drawings.
- Prepare as built surveys for completed works and record actual site measurements and deviations.
- Interpret construction drawings (architectural and structural) and coordinate with site engineers, QA/QC, and MEP teams.
- Ensure all setting out work is accurate to avoid rework and conduct periodic checks.
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment, ensuring calibration and safe handling.
- Maintain survey records, field notes, and reports.
- Follow all HSE procedures and use appropriate PPE at all times.
