Job Description
- GEMS World Academy Dubai (GWA) is a private, co educational IB World School for PreK to Grade 12 students.
- The Academy is authorised to deliver the PYP, MYP, DP and CP programmes and is accredited by CIS and NEASC.
The Role
- We are looking to appoint an outstanding Laboratory Technician to work at the GEMS World Academy School.
- The role of the Science Laboratory Technician is to provide academic logistical support to the teachers and students in the Secondary Science Department.
- The direct supervisor is the Director of Learning for Science.
- Science laboratory technicians are considered part of a team working alongside teachers in the classroom as well as in the preparation rooms.
Job Specific Knowledge & Expected Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or minimum higher education.
- At least 3 years' classroom / Lab experience in Dubai.
- English Speaker with exceptional skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi task and cope with peaks of demand.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
