Laboratory Assistant–Welding, Part-Time

SUMMARY

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist faculty with equipment and laboratory supplies for welding department labs. Help monitor welding laboratories for compliance of safety regulations and help assure federal and state regulations are followed. Assist welding instructors in laboratory activities. Perform general clean-up and organization of laboratory rooms. Set up and maintain an inventory of all laboratory equipment and chemicals. Arrange for proper collection and disposal of all chemical and biohazard waste materials. Assist in departmental projects, as needed. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
