Position Summary
Supervise and coordinate cooks and kitchen workers at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre location.
Ensure food is prepared, presented, portioned, and garnished according to quality standards.
Kitchen Responsibilities
- Create decorative food displays and monitor the quantity and quality of prepared food.
- Communicate menu specials and unavailable menu items to food and beverage service staff.
- Prepare special meals or substitute items and provide cooks with needed ingredients and supplies.
- Monitor kitchen supplies and food stock.
- Maintain kitchen logs for food safety programs and food products.
Team and Guest Support
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Address guests' service needs and communicate clearly and professionally with others.
- Develop positive working relationships and support the team in reaching common goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred.
- 4 to 6 years of related work experience preferred.
