Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including utensils, equipment, floors, and storage areas
- Wash and properly store dishes, tools, and cooking equipment
- Assist chefs in basic food preparation (washing, chopping, portioning, and storing ingredients)
- Help in plating and garnishing dishes when required
- Receive, organize, and store deliveries and supplies
- Dispose of waste properly and follow recycling and safety practices
- Monitor stock of cleaning and kitchen supplies, reporting shortages as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
- Provide general support to chefs and kitchen staff as required

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Physical stamina for standing long hours and handling lifting tasks

Position Overview
- We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Steward / Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This role combines kitchen hygiene and maintenance responsibilities with basic food preparation support to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including utensils, equipment, floors, and storage areas.
- Wash and properly store dishes, tools, and cooking equipment.
- Assist chefs in basic food preparation (washing, chopping, portioning, and storing ingredients).
