Role Description
The Kitchen Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
The role oversees daily kitchen operations and ensures smooth service.
The position supports menu execution and improvement.
Responsibilities
- Supervise kitchen staff, organize schedules, and coordinate food preparation.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, monitor food costs, and reduce waste.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and health compliance through inspections and equipment maintenance.
- Train and coach team members, collaborate with front-of-house staff, and handle operational issues.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in kitchen operations, staff supervision, food preparation coordination, and peak-period service management.
- Proven inventory and food cost management experience, including supply ordering, waste control, and stock maintenance.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Leadership, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Experience with flavor profiles, plating standards, and consistent dish quality.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Dubai, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Previous Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or similar restaurant or hospitality experience is required; culinary education is advantageous.
- Basic proficiency with stock records, temperature logs, incident reporting, and related kitchen documentation systems.
