The Kitchen Helper supports food preparation, cleaning, ingredient handling, and kitchen production.
The role is based in a commercial catering kitchen preparing large quantities of food daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with daily food preparation and production.
- Wash, peel, cut, portion, and prepare ingredients as instructed.
- Assist with salads, sandwiches, sauces, garnishes, and other food items.
- Receive, organize, and store food supplies.
- Clean and organize workstations, equipment, utensils, and preparation areas.
- Dispose of food waste correctly and report unsafe conditions or food safety concerns.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene is required.
- The worker must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
- Physical fitness, extended standing, and the ability to lift and move supplies are required.
- Teamwork, communication, reliability, punctuality, and discipline are required.
- Flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays may be required.
- Previous commercial kitchen or catering experience is preferred.
- Food safety knowledge or training is advantageous.

Compensation
- Pay is AED 1,423.62 to AED 3,719.08 per month.
