We are seeking highly motivated Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineers to support the Specialized Warfighter Development Contract’s (SWDC) Threat Products Services (TPS) / Threat Modeling Center (TMC) at Schriever Space Force Base, in Colorado Springs, CO.

This exciting career opportunity at the TMC is responsible for the development and delivery of high-fidelity threat modeling products in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and MDA’s Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS).

The TMC Kinematic Systems Engineer is responsible for working with a group of engineers that generates the kinematic output data of simulated missile trajectories for the TMC.

This role requires employees to be onsite daily with no option for remote/hybrid work.

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline preferred with 2 years of relevant experience, or 0-2 years’ experience with a Masters’ Degree
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs
• Applicants must have a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance at the time of application which is required to start
• Experience in modeling and simulation
• Knowledge of missiles and six degrees of freedom (6 DoF) trajectory representation
• Familiarity with missile defense system components and their interoperability
• Understanding of Linux and Windows based platforms with their associated software
• Ability to work independently and in groups and must be a self-starter
