ASRC Federal Communications is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician for our ISS2 contract supporting our Air Force customer.
This position is located on Wake Island.
It’s a rotational position in which the selected employee will work a schedule of 3 months on the island and 1 month off, unpaid.
Wake Island is 2,100 miles away from HNL.
While working on-site, housing is provided in the form of a dormitory facility.
All meals are furnished through the cafeteria.
You are responsible for the flight from your home base to HNL.
Transportation to Wake Island is provided by government-sponsored aircraft.
This is a negotiated union position.
Installs, inspects, tests, maintains, and repairs intrusion detection and fire alarm detection and suppression systems in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and National Fire Protection Association standards.

· Electrical Journeyman License or Certificate of Fitness with two years’ experience as a journeyman.
· Current and ability to maintain NICET Level II certification for water-based suppression systems
· Manufacturer system certification as applicable (e.g.
Monaco, Ansul, Firetrace, etc)
