Role Overview

The Key Logistics Manager manages one or more physical logistics, logistics-provider, stakeholder, risk, and compliance activities.

The role is part of Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance and belongs to the Logistics job family.

Physical Logistics

  • Manage physical logistics performance and improvement controls.
  • Implement and control KPIs covering performance, cost, quality, and environment.
  • Apply Airbus logistics solutions, processes, rules, and policies.
  • Drive issue resolution through a rapid alert and escalation process.
  • Lead local improvement initiatives and share practices through the logistics service-manager network.
  • Optimize end-to-end logistics, surface operations, distribution resources, infrastructure, and surface management.
  • Assess logistics impacts of short- and medium-term planning changes.

Provider and Contract Management

  • Ensure logistics-provider contract compliance, budget adherence, savings, and subcontractor performance.
  • Create, challenge, and validate scope changes, work specifications, service requests, and claims.
  • Contribute to project-related scope changes and negotiate unit prices, volumes, and forecasts.
  • Govern contracts so services are delivered on time, at the required quality, and within cost.
  • Develop operating methods and training for contract management.
  • Calculate and monitor logistics budgets with Finance and support procurement and operations.

Stakeholder Management

  • Implement and monitor service-level agreements with internal stakeholders.
  • Anticipate and challenge stakeholder requests and ensure approved changes are implemented.

Risk and Compliance

  • Manage risks with internal stakeholders and logistics providers, perform root cause analysis, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Manage compliance with airworthiness, quality, environmental, health and safety, and dangerous-goods obligations.
  • Contribute to corporate audits and industrial maturity.
  • Plan and run audits with Quality and implement actions to close findings.
