About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manages assigned key accounts (Installers, general contractors, specifiers, project partners, end users) across the customer ecosystem, being accountable for all projects within the account
- Delivers sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability objectives within the assigned territory
- Builds and nurtures strong, multi level relationships with key accounts and stakeholders to influence product selection and secure specifications
- Has an in depth understanding of the market and defines an account strategy that drives profitable high growth opportunities
- Coordinates across Signify teams to meet account performance objectives and customer’s expectations
- Collaborates with offer management and marketing teams to tailor offerings and drives continuous improvement initiatives
- Identifies and pursues project opportunities from early design stages through to execution and delivery
- Monitors performance and manages accuracy of forecast and prepares detailed reports to inform decision making
- Resolves project challenges proactively to ensure on time, in scope, and on budget delivery
- Leads commercial discussions and negotiates contracts to maximize profitability and strengthen customer partnerships
- Promotes connected, digital, and sustainable lighting systems that address customer needs
- Manages technical and commercial projects, including detailed calculations for pricing, product configurations, and margin analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in key account management or sales within the lighting or related project ecosystem
- Experience working with specifiers, consultants, and contractors in a B2B environment (public and private sector)
- Relevant sales or project management certifications

Job Summary
- Manages strategic relationships with key accounts to maximize opportunities in the lighting projects business to drive profitable growth and customer satisfaction.
- Leads the design and implementation of lighting solutions that meet customer requirements while promoting Signify’s connected and sustainable innovations.
- Coordinates cross functional teams to ensure timely, high quality project delivery.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Manages assigned key accounts (Installers, general contractors, specifiers, project partners, end users) across the customer ecosystem, being accountable for all projects within the account, including direct responsibility for medium and large lighting projects.
- Delivers sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability objectives within the assigned territory.
- Builds and nurtures strong, multi level relationships with key accounts and stakeholders (installers, contractors, specifiers, consultants) to influence product selection and secure specifications and to create pull for Signify’s innovations.
- Has an in depth understanding of the market and defines an account strategy that drives profitable high growth opportunities for Signify as well as operationally managing the execution.
- Coordinates across Signify teams (e.g. Sales Specialists, Product Marketing, Order Desk, Quote Support, LiAS, Supply Chain, Customer Satisfaction etc.) with the objective of meeting account performance objectives and customer’s expectations.
- Collaborates with offer management and marketing teams to tailor offerings and drives continuous improvement initiatives by gathering client feedback and implementing solutions.
- Identifies and pursues project opportunities from early design stages through to execution and delivery.
- Monitors performance and manages accuracy of forecast and prepares detailed reports to inform decision making. Tracks and keeps up to date project progress in CRM.
- Resolves project challenges proactively to ensure on time, in scope, and on budget delivery.
- Leads commercial discussions and negotiates contracts to maximize profitability and strengthen customer partnerships.
- Promotes connected, digital, and sustainable lighting systems that address customer needs for efficiency, performance, and compliance.
- Manages technical and commercial projects, including detailed calculations for pricing, product configurations, and margin analysis. Oversees the preparation and coordination of all project documentation—specifications, technical files, and customer proposals.
Critical Experiences
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, providing foundational knowledge in account management and strategic planning.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in key account management or sales within the lighting or related project ecosystem, demonstrating success in managing complex customer relationships and driving profitable growth.
