JOB PURPOSE

  • A Key Account Executive is a front line professional responsible for driving sales and fostering strong relationships with clients in the food service sector. This role involves actively seeking new business opportunities, managing a portfolio of existing clients, and achieving sales targets for the

Principal Accountabilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads and opportunities within the HORECA sector (e.g., hotels, restaurants, cafes, caterers) with a specific focus on beverage solutions.
  • Conduct sales calls, presentations, and product demonstrations for premium beverage brands to prospective customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and finalize deals to acquire new accounts.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of existing client accounts to ensure long term relationships and high customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, inquiries, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular visits to client sites to maintain relationships and identify upselling or cross selling opportunities related to beverage products.
  • Provide after sales support and coordinate with the logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the assigned beverage product portfolio and their applications, especially related to menu engineering and beverage preparation.
  • Stay informed about local market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies in the Kuwaiti beverage sector.
  • Gather and provide feedback from the market to the BDM and Regional Customer Experience & Beverages Director to help improve sales strategies and product offerings.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients regarding technical or quality issues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a focus on Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 3 years of proven sales experience, with a preference for the food and beverage industry and the HORECA sector.
