Key Responsibilities
- Estimate different fire protection systems from supplied CAD drawings, specifications or equivalent documentation. • Assist in compiling tender submissions to a high standard and on time. • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to gain competitive pricing. • Coordinate workload and manage individual deadlines, holding colleagues accountable to agreed work programmes. • Support the sales team to maximise sales efficiency and success. • Travel to site to carry out surveys as required. • Develop processes and procedures to improve customer experience and department efficiency. • Communicate with staff, customers and the public via email and telephone.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- An A-player mindset — high standards, extreme ownership and the drive to do things properly, the first time. • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. • Strong communication, calculation and literacy skills. • Good time management and the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines under pressure. • Willingness to learn, act with integrity and work as a team player. • Confidence making outgoing calls to suppliers and clients. • Full UK driving licence.
