Job Summary
Oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
Lead production staff, coordinate with other departments, and drive continuous improvement.
Manage upholstery and fabric processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities in the workshop.
- Ensure production schedules, deadlines, and quality standards are met.
- Assign tasks, monitor staff performance, and provide training as needed.
- Inspect materials, parts, and finished furniture against specifications.
- Manage and reserve fabrics for upholstery projects to maintain stock levels.
- Maintain production equipment and coordinate with maintenance teams.
- Implement and enforce workplace safety standards.
- Monitor raw material inventory and report shortages.
- Prepare monthly production reports for management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Leader in furniture manufacturing or woodworking.
- Strong knowledge of furniture production, upholstery techniques, fabric management, materials, and machinery.
