Key Responsibilities
- Assist Senior mechanics in diagnosing faults, troubleshooting, inspection, repair and implementing corrective actions on mobile and crawler cranes.
- Ensure proper collection and disposal of hazardous waste generated during maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues related to motors, pumps, hydraulics, and other systems.
- Operate and maintain both simple and complex heavy industrial equipment.
- Maintain and manage personal tools, including an up-to-date documented personal tools list, service records or work orders and reports.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned work orders within deadlines.
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with co-workers and clients.
- Participate in training programs as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Work flexibly across all shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on job demands.
- Follow safety and operational procedures of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) throughout the execution of assigned tasks.
- Comply with company and client regulations and policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or technical certification in mechanical or automotive technology.
- 2 5 years of experience in a mechanical or maintenance of heavy equipment or cranes.
- Basic knowledge and experience of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
- Good physical condition and manual dexterity.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role.
