A company is looking for a Junior Material Engineer to support material quantity verification, cost control coordination, and procurement review processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review material requests, quantities, and specifications against approved BOQ and project budget
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Cost Control teams
- Identify quantity/specification deviations and highlight cost impacts
- Verify demarcation drawings and material scope
- Maintain material tracking and variance reports
- Support value engineering and material optimization initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of BOQ, material take-off, and construction materials
- Strong coordination and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel and technical documentation
- Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
