Junior Interior Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 3D models and 2D technical drawings for interior furniture and accessories.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for workshop production.
• Monitor workshop production against approved drawings and specifications.
• Support assembly and onboard installation of interior furniture.
• Resolve technical and production-related issues with senior engineers.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, purchasing, and design teams.
• Identify improvements in interior solutions, materials, and production methods.
• Manage assigned tasks and provide progress updates.
• Assist with purchasing and stock management for outfitting materials.
• Continuously develop knowledge of yacht interior construction and outfitting.

Requirements

• Basic professional or educational experience with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Basic understanding of technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of furniture construction, materials, or manufacturing processes is advantageous.

Nice to Have

• Previous furniture or woodworking industry experience.
• Previous marine or yacht interior outfitting experience.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks and technical drawing standards.
• Basic understanding of materials and manufacturing processes used in interior furniture production.
