Job Purpose

Support the development of training materials and learning content in line with the approved programme curriculum and Systems Approach to Training methodology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing lesson plans, presentations, learner guides, facilitator guides, worksheets and other training materials.
  • Prepare and update content according to approved curriculum, learning objectives and programme requirements.
  • Apply approved instructional design templates, standards and guidance.
  • Work with subject matter experts and senior team members to simplify technical content into learning resources.
  • Develop assessments, quizzes, knowledge checks and practical assessment materials.
  • Review materials for spelling, grammar, formatting, clarity, consistency and accuracy before approval.
  • Update materials based on feedback from subject matter experts, trainers, quality reviewers and programme stakeholders.
  • Follow approved formatting, branding, template and quality-control requirements, including ESAT requirements where applicable.
  • Maintain filing, naming conventions and version control for training materials and supporting documents.
  • Track content changes and ensure current approved versions are available for trainers and learners.
  • Support instructional design and SAT teams with document preparation, meeting notes, feedback tracking and coordination.
  • Continue developing knowledge of instructional design, adult learning, SAT methodology and training-quality standards.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Diploma or higher education qualification in education, training, instructional design, communications or another relevant field.
  • Up to two years of experience in training administration, learning and development, curriculum support, content development or a similar role.
  • Graduate or internship experience may also be considered.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation and document-formatting skills.
  • Ability to follow templates, processes and quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders and respond positively to feedback.
