CDM Smith is looking for an entry-level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group!

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to put their engineering skills to work on innovative water and wastewater projects while building a strong foundation for their career.

As part of our team, you’ll support the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater treatment facilities, sewer systems, pipelines, and related infrastructure.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to develop solutions that meet client needs and comply with federal, state, and local regulations.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting site assessments, water quality analyses, and engineering modeling.
• Developing and adjusting design parameters based on project needs.
• Preparing technical reports, project documentation, and client presentations.
• Using tools such as ArcGIS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, CADD, and Excel to support engineering and design work.
• Collaborating with engineers and project teams across the project lifecycle.
• Participating in fieldwork and construction management activities, providing valuable hands-on experience beyond the office.
