Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily MEP tasks and support technicians across various disciplines.
- Review and follow up on work orders using CAFM systems, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Help identify recurring issues and support in finding practical solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors and OEMs during maintenance, shutdowns, and commissioning activities.
- Follow established procedures and standards for MEP operations.
- Support in executing small-scale projects and system upgrades.
- Monitor basic performance indicators and report any concerns to senior staff.
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners as needed.
- Participate in improvement initiatives and learn about new technologies.
- Help manage service providers and ensure maintenance tasks are completed as per contract.
- Assist in preparing proposals for additional work and coordinating with procurement.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations (DEWA, Municipality, Civil Defense, etc.).
- Review safety documents and maintenance procedures under guidance.
- Learn and apply advanced troubleshooting techniques from senior staff.
- Track progress of assigned tasks and report completion status.
- Support in preparing technical reports and asset condition summaries.
- Maintain inventory of tools, materials, and consumables.
- Assist in budget tracking and resource planning with the engineering team.
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of LV electrical systems, HVAC (chilled water and DX), and plumbing setups.
- Able to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.
- Familiar with safety standards, quality checks, and compliance requirements.
- Willingness to learn team coordination and leadership skills.
- Able to stay calm and assist during emergency situations.
- Knowledge of inventory tracking and spare parts management.
- Experience or training in using CAFM/CMMS systems for work orders.
- Awareness of QHSE procedures and emergency protocols.
- Strong interest and foundation in facility management practices.
- Education and Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 2–3 years of experience in facility management, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
- Experience in supervising technical teams and handling multiple services.
- Good communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in English; additional languages such as Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu preferred
