Role Overview
Wellversed is seeking a proactive, solutions-oriented professional for a Supply Chain and Logistics Specialist role.

Transporter Management
- Select, onboard, and manage transporters while ensuring truck availability and utilization.
- Negotiate freight rates and manage contingencies during transport disruptions.
Dispatch & Logistics Execution
- Plan daily purchase-order dispatch schedules, ensure FIFO docking, and align reverse pickups.
- Manage loading, decantation, delays, diversions, accidents, off-spec material, and quality or quantity discrepancies.
- Monitor logistics service-provider performance and improve processes and networks using logistics SaaS platforms.
Compliance & Coordination
- Ensure statutory and safety compliance and support accident, incident, marine insurance, and dispute-resolution processes.
- Handle EXIM-related logistics where applicable.
- Coordinate with sales, terminals, transporters, and head-office teams.
- Ensure POD closure and publish accurate logistics MIS reports.
