The Role
Join the AI team behind Mairit and Huscribe and learn by shipping production work.
Work directly with senior AI and backend engineers and the founder on pipelines supporting both products.
The role is on-site in Dubai, and Humai sponsors the employment visa.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain evaluation sets and graders, run experiments, and report what changed.
- Implement prompts, checks, parsers, and retrieval steps under senior review.
- Curate clean, anonymised corpora containing terminology, exemplars, and test cases.
- Work on OCR output, document layout, and rendering checks.
- Trace failures end to end and fix them or escalate them with a clear write-up.
- Build small internal tools used daily by operations and product teams.
What You Bring
- Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a similar field, or equivalent proof through projects, open source, or internships.
- Solid Python and comfort with Git, tests, HTTP APIs, and SQL.
- Hands-on LLM experience demonstrated through a real project such as a RAG application, agent, or evaluation harness.
- Understanding of test sets, precision, recall, and regression analysis.
- Ability to read other people’s code, ask before guessing, and write clearly.
Nice to Have
- Arabic reading ability.
- Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or DSPy.
- Experience with OCR or document AI.
- Experience with vector databases.
- Experience with Azure.

Role Expectations
Within the first year, work across frontier and open models, evaluation, data, documents, and MCP.
After a year, expected outcomes include owning evaluation sets for a pipeline, shipping production steps, diagnosing failed jobs, and delivering tools colleagues use.
