Junior Accountant (Trainee)

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, data entry, and reconciliation.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, invoices, and statements.
• Maintain organized records of financial transactions by establishing and following accounting procedures.
• Collaborate with senior accountants on month-end and year-end closings.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide support in auditing processes and regulatory compliance tasks.
• Help manage tax filings and other financial compliance obligations.
• Contribute to process improvements within the accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in **Arabic** and **English** (spoken and written).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks) .and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous internship or experience in an accounting role is a plus.
• Basic understanding of local financial regulations and tax laws.
