About the Role

- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accounting records
- Prepare sales invoices, purchase entries, receipts, and payment vouchers
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations and petty cash management
- Maintain supplier and customer accounts
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management reports
- Support VAT documentation and compliance
- Organize and maintain accounting files and supporting documents
- Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding payments and account statements
- Assist with year end audits and other accounting activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- 1 3 years of accounting experience preferred (fresh graduates with strong accounting knowledge may apply)
- Fluent in Tamil (speaking, reading, writing)
- English communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills

Job Summary
- We are seeking a detail oriented and motivated Junior Accountant who is fluent in Tamil to join our finance team.
- The ideal candidate will assist with day to day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support the finance department in ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accounting records.
- Prepare sales invoices, purchase entries, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
- Maintain supplier and customer accounts.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management reports.
- Support VAT documentation and compliance.
- Organize and maintain accounting files and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding payments and account statements.
- Assist with year end audits and other accounting activities.
- Perform other finance and administrative duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred (fresh graduates with strong accounting knowledge may also apply).
- Fluent in Tamil (speaking, reading, and writing). English communication skills are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally, Odoo, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
- Experience in trading, contracting, or service companies is preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
Pay
- AED 1,514.92 AED 1,718.99 per month
