Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal vouchers, using Tally ERP/Prime
- Reconcile Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank statements
- Process invoices, payments, and resolve discrepancies
- Generate and review financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and trial balances using Tally
- Utilize Excel for data entry, creating spreadsheets, and handling financial data with high accuracy
- Use VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and SUMIFS for reconciliation and reporting
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and assist in tax filings
- Assist with month end and year end closing activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Hands on experience with Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime is mandatory
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and SUMIFS
- 0–3 years of accounting experience; fresh graduates with Tally knowledge may apply
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Position Summary
- The Junior Accountant is an entry level role responsible for the day to day recording of financial transactions and maintaining accurate books of accounts.
- This position requires hands on experience with Tally ERP/Prime for transaction processing and advanced Microsoft Excel for data handling and reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal vouchers, using Tally ERP/Prime.
- Reconcile Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank statements.
- Process invoices, payments, and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate and review financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and trial balances using Tally.
- Utilize Excel for data entry, creating spreadsheets, and handling financial data with high accuracy.
- Use VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and SUMIFS for reconciliation and reporting.

Required Qualifications

- Transaction Accuracy: 100% accurate data entry in Tally with zero posting errors.
- Reconciliation Timeliness: Bank and account reconciliations completed within 3 5 business days of month end.
- Tally Proficiency: All journal entries, invoices, and payments processed in Tally within 24 hours of receipt.
- Excel Efficiency: Clean and organized Excel workbooks that tie out to Tally reports with no formula errors.
