Job Objective
Support the Finance & Accounts team by maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily accounting transactions, and assisting with timely reporting and compliance.
Gain hands-on experience across accounting functions and contribute to the daily operation of the finance department.
The role reports to the Chief Accountant.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger.
- Assist with invoice preparation, billing, and follow-up on customer payments.
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and compliance.
- Assist with journal entries and monthly closing activities.
- Support VAT documentation and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with other departments to collect and verify financial data.
- Maintain petty cash records and process staff expense claims.
- Perform ad hoc finance tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
