- Prepare journal entries, schedules, and supporting documentation
- Support financial reporting and management reporting requirements, including budget tracking and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
- Assist with audits and other finance related activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- CA Inter / ACCA Part qualified candidate is preferred
- Prior experience in e commerce accounting will be a strong advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software

Job Overview
- We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our team on a contract basis for an initial period of 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on business requirements and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries.
- Process and manage communication on accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions.
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
- Assist in payroll processing and tax return filings to ensure tax compliance.
- Assist in month end and year end closing activities.
- Prepare journal entries, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Support financial reporting and management reporting requirements, including budget tracking and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
- Assist with audits and other finance related activities, including ad hoc report preparation, etc. as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory.
- CA Inter / ACCA Part qualified candidate is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
- Prior experience in e commerce accounting will be a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Salary and Benefits
- Pay: AED 5,500.00 AED 6,000.00 per month
- The salary will be in line with the market and will depend on the candidate's experience and fit for the role.
