This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role manages day-to-day accounting activities and supports accurate financial information for operations and management.
Responsibilities
- Record financial transactions and maintain general ledgers.
- Reconcile bank and cash accounts and prepare periodic financial reports.
- Monitor payables and receivables, process invoices, and track expenses.
- Support payroll, inventory accounting, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and financial closings.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with operations and management on financial reporting and decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, and cash management.
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and inventory accounting in hospitality or retail.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- UAE regulatory, tax, and audit familiarity is advantageous.
- CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification is a plus.
- Prior accounting experience, preferably in food and beverage or hospitality, is preferred.
