Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Junior Accountant for its Finance Department.
The role supports efficient financial operations, accurate record-keeping, and timely transaction management across banking and accounting functions.
Job Responsibilities
- Process and deposit daily cheques to company bank accounts accurately and on time.
- Prepare and deposit manual cheques to banks.
- Handle daily remittances and fund transfers according to company financial procedures.
- Assist customers and clients with payment information and financial queries.
- Facilitate smooth transaction processing.
- Maintain accurate records of deposits, remittances, and banking transactions.
- Organize financial documents and prepare basic reports related to deposits, remittances, and bank activities.
- Support daily financial operations and administrative accounting tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting support, banking operations, or financial administration.
- Familiarity with banking procedures, cheque processing, and remittance management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
