Role Overview
The role is for a Junior Accountant supporting bookkeeping and accounting activities for multiple companies.
The position requires work from client premises and in-person attendance.
Responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping for similar businesses.
- Maintain accounts and general ledgers for multiple companies.
- Keep accounts up to date.
- Prepare profit and loss, balance sheet, and other monthly and yearly reports.
- Manage accounts payable and follow up on payments.
- Process payroll and WPS transactions.
- Support financial reporting and budgeting.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of UAE experience.
- At least 1 year of accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Knowledge of Tally and Zoho Books.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience in payroll, WPS processing, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Detail-oriented and well organized.
Preferred Qualifications
- Audit work experience.
- Corporate tax and VAT filing experience.
Workplace
- The role is based in person and requires willingness to work from the client's premises.
- Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Mussafah or plan to relocate before starting work.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 1,800 to AED 2,200 per month.
